Good taser, but case failed quickly
My second one of these. The last one was over a decade old and the surface became very tacky. But it’s a good size. My only complaint is after less than a dozen walks wearing it, it just fell off my belt. The stitching came completely undone on half the strap

I just got my new little "zap zap" today and I must say I am impressed! Before ordering, I made sure to read the reviews so I could choose a reliable and well made unit. It definitely granted my wish! It's small and easy to carry either in your pocket or in your purse. I'm planning to carry mine on a retractable clip on my jeans. The directions say change the unit 4hrs before first use. It took only 1 1/2hrs to fully charged! The blue LED battery indicator lights are extremely bright! I bet I could stop an attacker just by switching it on and let the blue lights take care of business without having to zap! The flashlight is nice and bright as well. The on/off switch on the side is very stable and won't switch on by accident. The sound of the unit is loud enough to get someone's attention and make them think twice. It's a solid, well made unit. Not thin or cheap feeling. The unit and it's features are easy to use! The best part about owning this unit is the company offers a FREE and FOR LIFE replacement for the unit in the event you ever have to use it! All you have to do is sign up and register the unit and submit an official incident report in the event you end up zaping a "bad guy!" Great unit!

This is my 3rd time buying one, I first bought 2 one for my hubby and one for me, but I took my purse in to Knotts forgetting I had my stunt gun in my purse so I had to throw it away, so I bought another one, these work! I stunt my hubby by accident lol but thank God I was super far away from him! I was just showing him how loud they sound but I guess I aimed it kinda towards him and he felt the electric shock and I was like at least 15 feet away from him unless it was 10 feet away but anyhow that's a good distance and he still felt it.. so I can imagine it'll take someone down who tries to mess with you! Highly recommend.

I purchased a very similar stun device a few years ago. It recently failed, so I wanted a replacement. The reason I wanted a replacement is because I actually tested this thing by having my wife zap my arm and WOW. That is an experiment I have no desire to repeat. The failure point on my last one was the plastic button on the top that is on a track that slides out the plug to recharge in any standard wall outlet. I'm hoping for better results this time.For the price, this can't be beat for a little peace of mind. It's lightweight, easy to hold and operate. It comes with a convenient case that can attach to your belt, which the last one I had did not. When not pressed against the target, this emits a very loud, crackling electric sizzle that will, in itself, give pause to any potential attacker, whether it be man or beast.The battery life is good, but there doesn't appear to be any kind of charging indicator, which I find lacking. It is advised to not overcharge this device by plugging it in and forgetting about it. There are no user replaceable batteries. Whatever it uses is hardwired in. This should be thought of as an ultimately disposable device once the internal battery can no longer recharge. My last one that looked identical to this device lasted between 5-6 years.

This is great. I never liked the idea of macing a dog. We have some dogs in our area that are not friendly and allowed to be off leash. Just activate the taser (don't even need to be close enough to touch) and the noise makes them turn away. We also have coyotes in our neighborhood. I am assuming that it would have the same effect on them. Makes my neighborhood walks less stressful.

Good unit just don't put on your keys
I like the unit the flashlight is really bright but the key chain portion broke within two days of having it on my keys. Just was a weak jump ring on it.

Buy it!
I love this little thing! It worked straight out of the package but I did follow directions to charge it for 4 hours. The built in plug is so convenient! Seems powerful but you never know until you use it ??

Going away gift
Gave all different colors as a going away gift. Just a little added protection. Fits very nicely in the hand. I just can’t find anyone that will let me test it on them. Lol I love that they come in pretty colors!.
