I orginaly got this for my sister so this is her pov.I always wanted one of these. It's loud and scary and having it alone makes people leave me alone.I live out in the country, so we have everything from weirdos to stray dogs walking around. It's loud enough to scare off most tired dogs alone and the light works well to keep people away.Most important of all, it's freaking pink, it's not like those black scary ones.You can even put rine stones on it.2 people found this helpful

Love them, great value
So I bought 6 of these and gave them to my co workers for Christmas . We are all older women who work and are out in about. Great way to defend yourself.

The stun gun doesn't work and we can't return it. Update: the replacement item works.
UPDATE: the seller sent me a new item and it seems to work fine so far. Maybe the first one I received was an outlier. I updated the star rating from 1 to 4 based on the new item.This item is NOT returnable. Buyer beware. The stun gun does not work on ours (we tried it according to the manual and troubleshooting instructions - still did not work). The flashlight is very faint. I hope the pepper spray at least works since we're stuck with this item.

I think just flicking out the taser and turning it on will be enough to scare some folks away, with how loud it is. It's very small, and holds its charge well.I will say I think they keychain part of it is weak and didn't last long for me, but no problem, it's not broken and I'll just repair that bit myself.2 people found this helpful

Recharge safety is not documented
The batteries are NiCad (3) not LiPo. Usually good for 50-100 recharges. My concern is, what protection is included to prevent overcharging. The circuit board chips have no label so I can't tell if overcharging is properly dealt with . If over charged in my experience they typically blow apart with a loud bang.

It's the perfect size for your pocket or purse. Has a lot of power. I'm definitely ordering more to give as gifts to my nieces and a different color for myself.
